We pride ourselves on the high standards of uniform that our pupils display.
Most items of uniform can be purchased from high street stores, however items in bold can only be purchased from our uniform suppliers:
Navy blue blazers with a pre-sewn school logo badge are available from Monkhouse/Parade School Wear but please note that school badges may be purchased from school to sew onto navy blue blazers bought elsewhere.
A predominantly navy blue or black bag, without logos/patterns must be provided.

Please note - Year 7 girls should return to school in winter uniform. Year 7 girls start wearing white ankle socks and change to tights when the rest of the school change into winter uniform last week in September.
Girls in Y8/9/10 should return to school in summer uniform - full details can be found below.
Girls in Year 11 have the option to return in either summer or winter uniform - full details can be found below.

We are very proud of the high standard of appearance of our pupils. In order to maintain this, the school has a uniform and appearance policy which every pupil must adhere to. All instances of incorrect uniform and appearance are noted, with detentions issued. Repeated infringement of uniform will lead to more serious sanctions and parental contact.
- Boys are not allowed to wear earrings; girls can wear one pair of small earrings in the ear lobe. If ears are pierced multiple times, earrings must be worn in the first piercing in the ear lobe. No jewellery may be worn as other body piercings. Pupils can wear religious jewellery underneath their clothing. No rings are to be worn. Watches must be plain and not brightly coloured.
- Make-up, including nail varnish, false nails or extensions, fake tan, eyebrow or eyelash tinting must not be worn.
- Blazers must be kept on until permission is given to remove them.
- Shirts are to be tucked in.
- Top button must be fastened
- Tie knot is to be positioned at the collar and the tie is the proper length to the waist.
- Coats, hats and scarves are not to be worn in classrooms.
- No jewellery (except above, and watch)
- Skirts are to be knee length
- No colouring or extremes of hair style. Hair dye is or hair extensions are not allowed. Boys must not have extremely short hair or hair below the shirt collar. Extreme contrasts between top of hair and sides is not permitted. Any student with hair types 3a-4c may wear their hair in an appropriate protective hairstyle - Religious headwear may be worn. Must be plain, navy blue in keeping with the school uniform.
- If you have won an Aspire Award, then the badge becomes a part of your uniform and you are expected to wear it. Badges not issued by school are not allowed to be worn.

No jewellery is to be worn for any sporting activities. Earrings can be taped for the first 6 weeks after piercing – tape must be provided by the pupil. Hair must be tied back off the face. Pupils are not permitted to wear converse/high tops as part of their PE uniform. Please note moulded studs/blades are not suitable for the school all-weather pitch. PE kit MUST NOT have any logos present. Both boys and girls will need a Technology apron – please purchase from Monkhouse/Parade School Wear.
