Pope Francis

Heavenly Father,

With hearts full of sorrow and gratitude, we come before You today to remember Your faithful servant, Pope Francis. His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and of His Church. He taught us to live the values of the Gospel with fidelity, courage, and universal love, especially in favor of the poorest and most marginalized. With immense gratitude for his example as a true disciple of the Lord Jesus, we commend the soul of Pope Francis to the infinite merciful love of the One and Triune God.

Lord, in his passing, we feel the weight of loss, but we also rejoice in the hope of eternal life.

Comfort all who mourn—especially the Church he led with courage and kindness.

May his legacy of mercy, peace, and justice continue to inspire us in our daily lives.

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
